Kara Harris comes to you with a multifaceted background.  Involvement in counseling families of disabled children has taught her sensitivity to the needs of others.  helping establish preschool programs for the physically handicapped and developing an adhoc committee representing that community, has equipped her to deal with people on many different levels.  One on one relationships with the disabled population, along with physicians and politicians in the State of Arizona has given her the well-rounded experience necessary to speak publicly.

Teaching high school students abstinence in the Arizona Public School system for many years has taught her to stand before a critical audience and communicate effectively.   Educating that age group about sex is not something many could accomplish and enjoy at the same time.  Keeping the subject matter somewhat light, yet serious enough to get the point across, is one of her strengths.

Kara's honest, open and concerned approach to people and life is an invaluable component of her personality.  Discerning the needs of others and effective communication help her to capture and maintain the attention of her audience.  Her sense of humor enables her to teach others as the human condition.  Encouragement is a gift evidenced by her ability to help others utilize their strengths and capitalize on them, while recognizing and minimizing their struggles. 

In her experience with helping others, she has discovered that knowledge of the human temperaments is an invaluable tool for anyone who deals with people at any level.  It is also a life survival skill that everyone can benefit from.  Becoming a Certified Human Behavior Consultant, associated with Personality Insights, Inc., has given her the ability to share the DISC Model in a clear, Concise manner,  It is evident in a society that is fast losing its sense of humor and tolerance for fellow human beings that there is a real need for this type of service.  The goal of educating others while making it fun has been successfully obtained through her workshop on the temperaments.
